Lions' St. Brown active vs. Cowboys

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is active for Thursday night's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys despite dealing with an ankle injury, the team announced.

St. Brown sustained the injury on Thanksgiving in a loss to the Green Bay Packers and was questionable coming into Thursday's matchup after not practicing all week.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said last week that St. Brown was expected to miss at least one game, but the Lions receiver has ultimately defied that prognosis.

St. Brown leads the team in receptions (75), receiving yards (884), and touchdowns (nine).

Detroit is taking on a 6-5-1 Dallas squad that has won three in a row. A victory would significantly boost the 7-5 Lions' playoff hopes.
