Lamar apologizes for shoving fan: 'Just chill next time'
Lamar Jackson offered an apology to the fan he shoved during Sunday night's loss to the Buffalo Bills.
"It just happened," the Baltimore Ravens signal-caller said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "I got pushed. I'm like, what? I wasn't even thinking about me being out there on the field. My apologies to him."
However, Jackson advised the fan, who shoved him and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins after a third-quarter touchdown, to not cross the line between trash talk and physical contact.
"Just chill next time," the passer added. "You can talk trash and stuff but keep your hands to yourself."

The incident involving the two-time MVP wasn't the only one during the prime-time game, as Derrick Henry was the target of a water bottle thrown from the crowd.
"Stuff like that shouldn't be happening," Jackson said. "It's not WWE."
Jackson and the Ravens appeared on course for victory Sunday night before surrendering 16 unanswered points in the final four minutes. The squad will attempt to get its first win in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.
