Bills reuniting with former Pro Bowl safety Poyer
The Buffalo Bills are bringing back former Pro Bowl safety Jordan Poyer, his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln told NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The 34-year-old safety was a member of the Miami Dolphins in 2024 but spent the previous seven seasons with the Bills, where he was a crucial piece in their secondary.
Poyer is expected to join the Bills' practice squad, a source told The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
Poyer recorded 22 interceptions, eight forced fumbles, and 11 sacks during his initial seven-year tenure in Buffalo. He made the only Pro Bowl appearance of his career in 2022 after registering four picks.
His presence will shore up a Bills safety room that's projected to be headlined by Cole Bishop and Taylor Rapp.
Poyer made 16 starts for the Dolphins last season and recorded 98 tackles.
