Las Vegas Raiders leading wide receiver Jakobi Meyers requested a trade, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network report.

Meyers reportedly met with team brass recently to deliver the request. However, the Raiders said they value the veteran wideout and don't plan to move him, according to Rapoport and Pelissero.

Meyers, who's in the last year of his contract, has tried to negotiate an extension with Las Vegas, but the two sides reportedly couldn't reach an agreement. His deal has a $10.7-million base salary in 2025.

The 28-year-old set career highs with 87 receptions and 1,027 yards last year to go along with four touchdowns in 15 games. He ranked second on the Raiders in receiving behind only tight end Brock Bowers.

The wide receiver room is a concern for the Raiders, who have been looking for a spark at the position after trading for quarterback Geno Smith in the offseason. Las Vegas drafted three wideouts this year, including second-round pick Jack Bech. The team also rosters Tre Tucker - its only other pass-catcher who had over 40 catches and 300 receiving yards in 2024 - and Amari Cooper, who reportedly reunited with the club on a one-year contract Monday.
