New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has been absent from practice for the last 11 days due to a minor back issue, sources told ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
A source described the injury as "normal camp tightness," per Raanan.
Nabers has been nursing injuries throughout the offseason - he was limited in OTAs due to a toe issue.
The 2024 sixth overall pick has not yet suited up in the preseason.
He'll be expected to be the focal point of the Giants' offense once again this season after an electric 1,204-yard rookie campaign. Even though he missed two games last season, he racked up 170 targets, good for the second-most in the NFL.
The Giants open the season on the road on Sept. 7 against the Washington Commanders.
