Colts' Richardson exits preseason game after dislocating finger
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson was ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens after sustaining a finger injury.
Richardson exited after taking a sack on Indianapolis' second offensive series in the first quarter. The third-year passer left the field holding his throwing arm and was evaluated on the sideline before being officially ruled out.

He was replaced by Daniel Jones, who's competing for the Colts' QB1 role after joining the team this offseason.
"I don't know the extent of it," Colts head coach Shane Steichen said of Richardson's injury, according to Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan. "It was just a dislocation. Popped it and popped back in. I don't know how long he'll be out."
Richardson received the first start for Indy this preseason and quarterbacked a drive that ended with a 53-yard field goal on the team's first offensive series. He completed two of three pass attempts for 21 yards.
Injuries have been a major issue for Richardson, who's appeared in only 15 games since the Colts drafted him fourth overall in 2023. The Florida product missed minicamp this year due to a shoulder injury.
