Report: Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl rematch scheduled for Week 2
The Kansas City Chiefs will kick off their home schedule with a banger this season.
Kansas City is expected to host the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch in Week 2 on Sept. 14, sources told Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Fox will broadcast the blockbuster contest at 4:25 p.m. ET, according to Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.
The matchup is one of the most anticipated games of the 2025 NFL season. In February, Philadelphia took down Kansas City 40-22 to win Super Bowl LIX. It was their second Big Game meeting in three campaigns, as Patrick Mahomes and Co. previously defeated Philly in SB LVII in 2023.
Philadelphia and Kansas City last met in the regular season during the 2023 campaign, with the Eagles claiming a 21-17 triumph at Arrowhead Stadium.
Several blockbuster games featuring the Eagles or Chiefs in 2025 have already been announced, including Philadelphia's season-opening bout against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.
Meanwhile, Kansas City is scheduled to visit the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Chiefs will also host the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.
The NFL will reveal its full 2025 regular-season schedule Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
