Ravens' Flowers listed as doubtful to face Bills
It doesn't look like the Baltimore Ravens will have their No. 1 wide receiver in the divisional round despite coach John Harbaugh's optimism.
Harbaugh said Friday that Zay Flowers "has a chance" to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
However, the Ravens later officially listed the explosive wideout as doubtful for their highly anticipated playoff clash.
Flowers didn't practice this week due to a knee injury that also sidelined him for last week's wild-card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 24-year-old, who has a brace on his knee, did participate in a small workout before staying on the sideline during Friday's full practice, notes Giana Han of The Baltimore Banner.
With Flowers sidelined, the run-heavy Ravens relied on other skill-position players in the passing game last week. Tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely combined for five receptions and 80 yards, while running back Justice Hill caught a team-high four passes for 13 yards and one touchdown.
Flowers led Baltimore with 74 receptions and 1,059 yards in 2024. The 2023 first-round pick also scored four touchdowns en route to a first Pro Bowl berth.
