Seahawks trade Baker to Titans for Ernest Jones
The Seattle Seahawks are trading linebacker Jerome Baker and a draft pick to the Tennessee Titans for linebacker Ernest Jones IV, the Seahawks announced Wednesday.
The pick is a fourth-round selection, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Baker signed a one-year, $7-million contract with Seattle during free agency in March. He racked up over 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack in five starts with the Seahawks. The Ohio State product previously spent the past six seasons with the Miami Dolphins before joining Seattle.
Jones, 24, will join his second team this year after he was dealt to Tennessee in August by the Los Angeles Rams. He was second on the Titans with 44 tackles to go along with three tackles for loss and one QB hit in five starts this season.
The Titans (1-5) continue to reshape their roster on Wednesday after reportedly trading receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs.
