Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane won't return to Sunday's game against the New England Patriots following an evaluation for a concussion.

Achane was sent for an evaluation after the back of his helmet slammed against the ground on a first-quarter run.

He had 18 yards on three carries before exiting.

Achane has racked up 352 yards from scrimmage and two total touchdowns this season. Entering Sunday, he had totaled more receiving yards (187) than rushing yards (165).

A third-round pick in 2023, Achane enjoyed an electric rookie campaign, registering 7.8 yards per rushing attempt and 997 yards from scrimmage.

The Dolphins got back running back Raheem Mostert on Sunday after he missed the previous three games with a chest injury.
