Eagles sign Brown to 3-year extension worth reported $96M
The Philadelphia Eagles are signing wide receiver A.J. Brown to a three-year extension, the team announced Thursday.
Brown will earn $96 million over the three years of the extension, and the deal includes $84 million guaranteed, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Brown's reported $32-million average annual salary would be the highest of any NFL receiver. He signed a four-year, $100-million extension in 2022, and the new contract will lock him up through the 2029 season.
The 26-year-old has been tremendous since Philadelphia acquired him in a trade with the Tennessee Titans in 2022. Brown has 2,952 yards and 18 touchdowns over the last two seasons, securing second-team All-Pro nominations in both campaigns.
The Eagles have been proactive this offseason in locking up their star players, signing Landon Dickerson, Jordan Mailata, and DeVonta Smith to long-term extensions since the 2023 season ended.
Brown has 5,947 yards and 42 touchdowns in 77 career games.
