Veteran defensive back Logan Ryan announced his retirement Tuesday.

"Man, what a great career. What a ride it was. A beautiful journey of highs and lows," Ryan said in a video posted to X. "Shout out to my friends, my family, my teammates. All those who supported me. I tried to play the right way."

The New England Patriots drafted Ryan in the third round in 2013. The Rutgers product played four seasons with the Patriots, winning Super Bowls in the 2014 and 2016 campaigns.

The New Jersey native also had stints with the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before spending last season with the San Francisco 49ers.

Ryan has recorded 755 tackles, 98 passes defensed, 19 interceptions, and 13 sacks over 154 regular-season games. He added another 106 tackles and two picks in 19 postseason contests.
