The New York Jets are eager to sign free-agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney, a source told Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.
Clowney visited the Jets earlier this month and has kept in contact with the organization, Schultz adds.
The Carolina Panthers, who also hosted Clowney on a visit, and the Baltimore Ravens are also reportedly interested in signing him.
Clowney spent the 2023 season in Baltimore, tying his career-high 9.5 sacks.
The former first overall pick has recorded 52.5 sacks and 128 quarterback hits over his 10-year career.
The Jets have been busy in free agency and recently added veteran offensive tackle Tyron Smith and wide receiver Mike Williams.
