Jalen Hurts scored a 12-yard touchdown run in overtime to help the Philadelphia Eagles edge the Buffalo Bills 37-34 on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The game-winning score in the extra frame capped yet another clutch performance for Hurts, who accounted for five touchdowns versus Buffalo.

Led by an inspired Josh Allen, the Bills had a lead for most of the matchup and were up 24-14 entering the fourth quarter. Buffalo outgained Philadelphia in total yards (505-378) and first downs (29-24) while also winning the turnover battle (2-1). However, Bills kicker Tyler Bass missed two field goals during regulation.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia kicker Jake Elliott played hero at the end of the fourth quarter, drilling a 59-yard field goal in pouring rain to tie the game and force overtime.

The Bills had the first offensive possession in overtime but had to settle for a 40-yard field goal after a 12-play drive. Hurts and Co. then orchestrated a nine-play, 75-yard drive to walk off Buffalo. The star quarterback finished the day with 200 passing yards and 65 yards on the ground. His favorite target on the day was DeVonta Smith, who caught seven passes for 106 yards and one touchdown.

Sunday's triumph marked the fourth straight game in which the Eagles won despite being outgained by at least 95 total yards.

With the victory, the Eagles - owners of the NFL's best record - improved to 10-1 this season. The reigning NFC champions have now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, the Bills drop to 6-6 - and dip to the No. 10 spot in the AFC.
