Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is impressed by what head coach Mike McDaniel has done with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the rest of the team so far this season.

"I tip my hat to Coach McDaniel," Hill said on his "It Needed To Be Said" podcast. "He's been doing a terrific job with Tua. The way Tua is playing right now, it's definitely MVP-level. Being on the sidelines just watching the fans chanting "M-V-P" gave me chills in my body."

Hill added, "It was almost like the LeBron (James) free-throw moment."

The Dolphins - one of three unbeaten teams left - are the league's hottest club right now after claiming a historic 70-20 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 3. Fans at Hard Rock Stadium chanted "M-V-P" midway through the game for Tagovailoa, who currently leads the NFL in EPA per play and passer rating, among other categories.

The 25-year-old signal-caller has also completed 71.3% of his passes while tossing eight touchdowns to just two interceptions in 2023. Led by Tagovailoa, Miami's offense ranks first in most categories, including points and yards.

"Every day at practice we're having fun, we're laughing," added Hill, who joined the Dolphins during the 2022 offseason as part of a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs. "We're doing the same things that we used to do in Kansas City. And it's special here now, man. It's beginning to get really special, and I'm loving it."

Miami went 8-5 with Tagovailoa under center last year, but the passer missed time in 2022 with multiple stints in the concussion protocol. The team's season ended with third-stringer Skylar Thompson at quarterback in the wild-card round versus the Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins visit the 2-1 Bills in Week 4.
