Rams' Kupp 'feeling really good' after injury-riddled season

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp returned to a full team practice for the first time this offseason as he continues his rehab from ankle surgery.

"I'm feeling really good now," Kupp said Tuesday, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

Kupp - the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year - underwent surgery after suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 10 last season and ultimately missed the remainder of the campaign.

The Rams posted a 5-12 record in 2022 and opted not to rush a potential Kupp return in the final stretch of the season.

"I was really hoping to challenge to come back and be a part of last year still," Kupp said, according to ESPN's Paolo Uggetti. "Unfortunately, things can't work out that way."

He added: "It does feel like it when you get hurt, that season kind of drags on forever. There's never really a stopping point ... (I'm) still rehabbing, still doing all that stuff so it gets long."

The 29-year-old finished 2022 with 812 yards and six touchdowns on 75 catches over nine games. In 2021, he led the NFL in catches (145), receiving yards (1,947), and TD receptions (16), and was later named Super Bowl LVI MVP after helping the Rams edge the Cincinnati Bengals in the big game.
