Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is optimistic the team's offense will remain solid with Jordan Love replacing Aaron Rodgers at quarterback in 2023.

"Jordan can do it," Doubs recently told Spectrum 1's Dennis Krause. "I think Jordan is a really good quarterback. When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan, Aaron was a really great quarterback, but I believe Jordan can do the same exact thing. I don't really see what's the big difference."

The Packers turned to Love under center after trading Rodgers to the New York Jets in April. Green Bay drafted Love in the first round in 2020, and the Utah State product has started only one game in his NFL career. He's signed through the 2024 season after recently inking a one-year contract extension.

Despite going from Rodgers - a four-time NFL MVP - to Love, Doubs said he believes the Packers will remain competitive.

"I don't see the Packers going down," Doubs said. "I only focus on our room and our team in this organization. This organization is historic, and it's only winning. That's all. When you hear Green Bay, it's no losing, it's only winning."

Rodgers posted a 147-75-1 regular-season record with Green Bay and helped the franchise win one Super Bowl from 2008-22. However, the Packers went 8-9 in 2022 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

Doubs caught 42 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games as a fourth-round rookie last year. In addition to the Nevada product, Green Bay's wide receiver depth chart features Christian Watson and second-round rookie Jayden Reed, among others.
