Sources: Bucs re-signing Dean to 4-year, $52M deal
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to sign cornerback Jamel Dean to a four-year, $52-million deal, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.

Per @PFF, Dean allowed a 50% completion rate (fourth among CBs with at least 50 targets) and 6.1 yards per target (T-10th) in primary coverage last season.
Schultz added that Dean turned down more money from other clubs to remain with the Buccaneers.
Dean, 26, finished his 2022 campaign with a pair of interceptions, eight passes defensed, and 57 total tackles which was good enough for a 77.9 overall grade from PFF.
The 6-foot-1 cover man has seven interceptions and 41 passes defensed in 57 career games with Tampa Bay.
