Head coach Brandon Staley said the Los Angeles Chargers plan to activate edge rusher Joey Bosa from injured reserve for Sunday's matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, per NFL Network's Bridget Condon.
Bosa has been unavailable since he suffered a groin injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3. He underwent surgery for the ailment.
The 27-year-old recorded 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble before being placed on IR.
Meanwhile, the Chargers have ruled out safety Derwin James for Sunday's contest due to a concussion.
James has missed two games this season. He was ejected from Monday's contest against the Indianapolis Colts for an illegal hit.
