Eagles' Goedert activated, reportedly set to play vs. Cowboys
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was activated to the 53-man roster, the team announced Tuesday.
Goedert is expected to play Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The 27-year-old Goedert was placed on injured reserve Nov. 16 after suffering a shoulder injury. His 21-day practice window opened last week, but he was not activated for the Eagles' game against the Chicago Bears.
With Gardner Minshew on track to start against the Cowboys, an essential piece of the Eagles' offense returns to help the team's backup quarterback.
Goedert had six catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns in one of Minshew's starts in 2021.
The veteran tight end has 43 catches for 544 yards and three touchdowns in nine games this season.
