Lions' St. Brown, Swift ruled out vs. Seahawks
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back D'Andre Swift will miss Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Friday.
St. Brown is dealing with an ankle injury, while Swift has ankle and shoulder issues.
The two stars have been integral to the Lions' resurgence on offense through three weeks of the season. Detroit ranks second in the NFL with 31.7 points per game.
St. Brown is 11th in the league in receiving yards (253), sixth in receptions (23), and tied for second in receiving touchdowns (three).
Swift is eighth in the NFL in rushing yards (231) and second in yards per carry (8.6). He also has one rushing and one receiving touchdown.
Receivers Josh Reynolds and DJ Chark and tight end T.J. Hockenson are in line to lead Detroit's passing attack. Jamaal Williams will take the lead backfield role with Swift sidelined.
