Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle D.J. Reader suffered a knee injury in the team's win over the New York Jets and will miss an extended period of time, a source told Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
He's expected to be out for a "month-plus," reports NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Reader left the game against the Jets late in the second quarter and did not return.
The 28-year-old signed a four-year, $53-million contract in April 2020. Reader has 10 tackles and one tackle for loss in three games this season.
