Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen suffered what's feared to be a season-ending knee injury during practice Thursday and needed to be carted off the field, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Bucs are still waiting for final confirmation on the Pro Bowler's injury, Rapoport adds.

"Hopefully, it just looked worse than it is," a Buccaneers official told James Palmer of NFL Network.

Jensen threw his helmet while being carted off, according to Pete Prisco of CBS Sports.

The 31-year-old joined Tampa Bay in 2018 and has played every game over the last four years. He earned his first career Pro Bowl nomination in 2021.

Jensen missing time would be a significant blow to one of the NFL's premier offensive lines. Sophomore Robert Hainsey is the Buccaneers' backup center.
