Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler announced on Instagram that he tested positive for COVID-19 again Saturday, according to ESPN's Stephania Bell.

As a result, Ekeler couldn't travel with the team. He's out for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, Bell notes.

The Chargers placed Ekeler on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. With him sidelined, tailbacks Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley, and Larry Rountree are all in line to receive more snaps.

On the latest episode of his fantasy show, "Ekeler's Edge," earlier this week, the star tailback hinted that managers should scoop up Jackson with him potentially being sidelined.

Ekeler has been one of the league's most productive players this season, racking up 1,347 scrimmage yards and 17 total touchdowns through 14 games.
