New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara won't play Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys due to a knee injury.

Kamara, who was ruled questionable Wednesday, hasn't played since Week 9.

The four-time Pro Bowler still leads New Orleans with 530 rushing yards this season. He's also racked up a team-high 32 catches and seven scrimmage touchdowns through eight appearances.

Mark Ingram, who missed last week's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills with a knee ailment, will once again serve as the Saints' No. 1 running back after clearing the injury report Wednesday. The 31-year-old has rushed for 205 yards (4.6 per attempt) and one touchdown in four games this year.

The Saints' running game should also get a boost from Taysom Hill, who will start his first game at quarterback this season Thursday over Trevor Siemian.

New Orleans also ruled out offensive tackles Ryan Ramczyk and Terron Armstead due to knee ailments, Rapoport reports.

Injuries have been a major issue for the 5-6 Saints, who dropped their fourth consecutive game in Week 12.
