Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the 2021 season, the team announced Friday.

White left Thursday's blowout win over the New Orleans Saints and didn't return after coming down on his leg awkwardly in the first half.

The injury is a big blow to one of the NFL's top defenses. White racked up 41 tackles, six pass breakups, and one interception through 11 appearances in 2021 while allowing a 60.8 passer rating when targeted.

The two-time Pro Bowler, who led the league with six interceptions in 2019, established himself as one of football's top corners soon after being drafted 27th overall in 2017. The LSU product has averaged 62 tackles, four picks, and 13 pass breakups per 16 games throughout his career.

Buffalo's cornerback depth chart also features Levi Wallace, and Taron Johnson, among others.

The Bills' defense has allowed a 62.8 passer rating this year, the lowest mark in the NFL
