The Pittsburgh Steelers activated safety Minkah Fitzpatrick from the COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the team announced Thursday.
Fitzpatrick missed the Steelers' Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Pittsburgh's defense struggled against the pass with star pass-rusher T.J. Watt and cornerback Joe Haden also sidelined, allowing Justin Herbert and Co. to score 41 points.
While Fitzpatrick hasn't produced his usual number of interceptions this season, he does have 64 total tackles, one pass breakup, and a forced fumble in nine appearances.
The 5-4-1 Steelers sit third in the AFC North behind the 7-3 Baltimore Ravens and the 6-4 Bengals.
