Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver DJ Chark will miss the rest of the season with a fractured ankle, Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer announced Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Chark suffered the injury at the end of September and previously had no timetable for return.

The 25-year-old led the Jaguars in receiving yards in each of the last two seasons, racking up 53 catches for 706 yards and five touchdowns in 2020 and 73 catches for 1,008 yards and eight scores in 2019.

Chark had a slow start to the season before getting hurt, making just seven catches on 22 targets for 154 yards and two touchdowns in four games.

Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault have taken up the leading roles in Jacksonville's passing attack.

Chark will be an unrestricted free agent after the season.
