Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan was carted off during the second quarter of Monday night's game against the Buffalo Bills.

The veteran suffered the injury after attempting to join the pile at the end of a rushing attempt. Players immediately called for medical attention before Lewan was immobilized on a backboard. Lewan gave a thumbs-up to the home crowd as he was taken off the field.

The Titans announced shortly after that Lewan has movement in all of his extremities and was being evaluated for a possible concussion.

Head coach Mike Vrabel was hopeful of the lineman's status following the 34-31 win over the Bills.

"I think there's a lot of emotions involved, and we understand what the risks are playing this sport," Vrabel said, according to Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports. "Taylor plays very hard with a lot of effort and finish, so I hope he'll be OK."

The 2014 first-rounder has made three Pro Bowls and started 89 games over his career, which he's spent entirely with the Titans.
