Tom Brady wants in on the NFT action.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is launching a non-fungible token business called Autograph.

"Autograph will bring together some of the world's most iconic names and brands with best in class digital artists to ideate, create, and launch NFTs, and ground-breaking experiences to a community of fans and collectors," Autograph co-founder and CEO Dillon Rosenblatt told CNN.

NFTs are the latest in cryptocurrency. An NFT is essentially a digital collectible item that can't be modified once created. It's placed on a blockchain, a system that records transactions made in the form of cryptocurrency, such as bitcoin.

NFTs have grown in popularity as of late, with the NBA creating highlight videos with Top Shot. Brady's opposite number in the Super Bowl - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes - has also waded into the market, announcing the creation of a digital art gallery called "The Museum of Mahomes" last month. Bucs teammate Rob Gronkowski is also releasing digital trading cards.

Autograph will produce NFTs of Brady, among others.
