An LSU reunion between wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and quarterback Joe Burrow could be in the cards for the Cincinnati Bengals.
"I wouldn't mind going back with Joe (Burrow)," Chase said at the LSU pro day Wednesday, according to ESPN's Alex Scarborough. "If we go back together, we're trying to do nothing but get back our chemistry and have some more fun."
The Bengals own the fifth-overall pick in the 2021 draft and could be in position to select the talented prospect if he remains available. Chase added that he talked to Cincinnati during the pre-draft process, according to Brooks Kubena of The Advocate.
Chase opted out of the 2020 NCAA season, but his partnership with Burrow took college football by storm during the Tigers' national championship run in 2019. The former LSU wideout registered 1,780 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns during the 2019 campaign.
The 21-year-old impressed during his workout Wednesday, posting a 4.38 time on the 40-yard dash, among other feats.

Chase, Jaylen Waddle, and DeVonta Smith headline the 2021 receiver draft class. The former LSU product hopes to be the first wideout to hear his name called at the event.
"It's very important for me (to be picked first), not just because I dreamed of it, but I worked my butt off to get here," Chase noted.
"I don't want nobody to take that from me. I'm not letting anyone take it from me. So I'm gonna keep working."
