T.Y. Hilton is staying with the Indianapolis Colts.

The veteran wide receiver is signing a one-year, $10-million deal to return to Indianapolis, his agency told ESPN's Adam Schefter, who adds that $8 million will be guaranteed.

Both sides spoke optimistically throughout the offseason about striking a deal to ensure the free agent remained in Indianapolis. Hilton previously said he'd like to retire with the Colts.

Hilton has spent his entire nine-year career with Indianapolis, serving as the top wideout for the majority of his tenure. He has eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards five times.

The 31-year-old has seen his targets decline in recent campaigns, however. He recorded a career-low 501 receiving yards in 2019 but posted a respectful 762 yards last season.

Hilton and second-year wideout Michael Pittman are set to be quarterback Carson Wentz's top receiving options for 2021. Wentz came over from the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade earlier this offseason.
