Report: Titans trade 2020 1st-rounder Isaiah Wilson to Dolphins
The Tennessee Titans traded 2020 first-round offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson and a 2022 seventh-round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2021 seventh-rounder, sources told ESPN's Turron Davenport.
Wilson endured a tumultuous rookie campaign in which he saw just three snaps, earned a suspension for violating team rules, and was arrested for DUI.
Selected 29th overall out of Georgia last April, Wilson tweeted on Feb. 22 he was "done with football as a Titan" before deleting the post shortly after.
The reported deal is a low-risk move for the Dolphins, who will add a talented 22-year-old offensive lineman set to make just $4.98 million over the next three seasons, according to Spotrac.
Miami's offensive line allowed 34 sacks last season, ranking 15th in the NFL. First-round quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was sacked 20 times in nine starts as a rookie.
The Dolphins ranked 21st in pass blocking and 30th in run blocking in 2020, according to PFF.
