Arizona Cardinals pass-rusher Chandler Jones expressed some sympathy for Russell Wilson after realizing what Arizona's addition of J.J. Watt means for the Seattle Seahawks quarterback.

The Seahawks quarterback has been vocal this offseason about his frustration with getting hit too often and will now have to see Jones and Watt twice per year.

Watt's signing bolsters the Cardinals' defense and gives the club two of the NFL's most prominent pass-rushers. Jones and his new teammate have been among the league's best at generating pressure.

Jones, who missed the majority of last season due to injury, recorded 19 sacks in 2019, while Watt is three years removed from a 16-sack campaign. The two have combined for eight Pro Bowl nods and seven First-Team All-Pro selections.

The Cardinals narrowly missed the postseason in 2020 but finished with 48 sacks, tied for fourth-most in the NFL.
