The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing their playoff games on the road, hoping to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Super Bowl LV will be held at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Bucs. Tampa Bay only needs to defeat the Green Bay Packers in Sunday's NFC Championship Game to be the first team in league history to play for the Lombardi Trophy on its home field.

"We got through the regular season, put ourselves in a decent position, won two road playoff games, and we've got a chance for four quarters of football to get back home to a home Super Bowl, which would be a pretty cool thing," Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady said Friday.

The Buccaneers are currently practicing within view of Raymond James Stadium as the Super Bowl logo is being plastered all over the outside of the building.

Head coach Bruce Arians has cautioned his team against looking too far ahead.

"We don't play that game this week - that's the message to everybody. We play the Packers in the NFC Championship Game. If you start thinking about the Super Bowl, you get beat and (will) be packing your bags on Monday," Arians said on Wednesday.

The last team to come close to playing in the Super Bowl in its home stadium was the 2017 Minnesota Vikings. With U.S. Bank Stadium set to host Super Bowl LIII, the Vikings stunned the New Orleans Saints in the divisional round, but lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC title game.
