Lamar: Ending playoff losing narrative is 'No. 1 right now'

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has earned numerous accolades early in his NFL career, but one accomplishment has evaded him: a playoff win.

Jackson has twice led the Ravens to the postseason, including after a 14-2 campaign following his 2019 MVP season. But the passer hasn't experienced any playoff success.

The 2018 first-rounder will get another crack at silencing the buzz over his playoff performances Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

"It's win or go home right now, I want to win regardless. I don't really care about what people got to say," Jackson said Wednesday. "I've only been in the playoffs twice (in) my young career. Other people been in the league forever, haven't been to the playoffs at all, but it is what it is. Definitely trying to erase that narrative right there, that's the No. 1 right now in my mind."

Jackson has struggled in the postseason, going one-and-done in consecutive years. The Ravens lost to the Los Angeles Chargers during his rookie year, and the Titans upset them in 2019.

The 23-year-old has recorded a completion percentage of just 51% and a passer rating of 68.3 in the playoffs. The dual-threat weapon has also struggled to protect the ball, losing two fumbles and tossing three interceptions over two postseason contests.

The Ravens enter Wild Card Weekend as one of the league's hottest teams. Baltimore has won its last five games while scoring 27-plus points in each matchup.
