The Green Bay Packers claimed defensive tackle Damon Harrison off waivers Wednesday, according to NFL.com's Nick Shook.

Harrison was waived by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday after appearing in six games for the team. "Snacks" initially signed with the Seahawks' practice squad before making his debut with the team in Week 10. He tallied nine tackles during his time in the Northwest.

Harrison asked for his release from the team, according to Shook.

The addition of Harrison, 32, provides Green Bay with some depth behind starting nose tackle Kenny Clark.

Harrison previously played for the Detroit Lions, New York Giants, and New York Jets.

He was named a first-team All-Pro after a 2016 campaign that saw him accumulate 86 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and six tackles for loss.
