Reid doesn't sweat close games: 'I've got Patrick Mahomes ... I'm good'
The Las Vegas Raiders scored with 1:43 remaining to take a 31-28 lead in their Week 11 contest and close in on a second victory this season over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Such a deficit would normally be cause for worry, but not for Andy Reid. The Chiefs head coach said he had no reason to panic late in the game.
"I've got Patrick Mahomes and a minute and a half. I'm good," Reid said after the game, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.
The Chiefs' offense needed just 1:15 to march 75 yards down the field for a game-winning touchdown pass from the reigning Super Bowl MVP to tight end Travis Kelce.
Mahomes was just as confident as Reid was when faced with the game-winning drive.
