Veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph is joining the Arizona Cardinals, reports Mark Berman of Fox 26.

Joseph started the season with the Tennessee Titans but was released Tuesday.

He's racked up 29 tackles, one interception, and five pass breakups through seven appearances in 2020. Additionally, he's allowed a 55.8 completion percentage and 95.7 passer rating when targeted.

The 36-year-old will bring 14-plus seasons of experience to the Cardinals, who will be his fourth team. He also suited up for the Cincinnati Bengals (2006-10) and Houston Texans (2011-19).

Arizona, which currently ranks fifth in scoring defense, recently placed second-year cornerback Byron Murphy on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Veterans Patrick Peterson and Dre Kirkpatrick now highlight the club's depth chart at the position.

Additionally, the Cardinals' secondary recently welcomed back safety Jalen Thompson, who was activated from injured reserve after missing six games due to an ankle injury.
