The Philadelphia Eagles will be without running back Miles Sanders for Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys due to a knee injury, the team announced Friday.

Sanders will miss his second consecutive game after suffering a knee injury in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. The running back is the Eagles' top rusher, accumulating 434 yards on the ground.

The Eagles will have offensive lineman Lane Johnson for their divisional matchup as the right tackle didn't receive an injury designation. Johnson - who was battling a knee and ankle injury - practiced fully Friday.

Alshon Jeffery's season debut will also wait at least another week after the receiver was ruled out due to a calf issue.

Philadelphia currently sits atop the NFC East with a 2-4-1 record and a victory Sunday against the Cowboys would strengthen its lead. The Eagles may not be the only team hindered by injuries, as Dallas could start rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci after Andy Dalton was ruled doubtful to play due to a concussion.
