Former Jacksonville defensive end Aaron Lynch has unretired and been reinstated to the Jaguars, the team announced Wednesday.
The veteran, who has six NFL seasons under his belt, had signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars in May but retired in August, citing personal reasons.
Lynch spent the past two seasons with the Chicago Bears and the previous four with the San Francisco 49ers. He has 20 career sacks and should be a welcome addition to a Jaguars defensive front ranking dead last with five sacks through six games.
