Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur described Davante Adams as "probably doubtful" for his team's Week 3 contest against the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

LaFleur hasn't completely closed the door on the possibility of Adams playing, adding, "We'll give him the rest of the week to see where he's at."

Adams suffered the hamstring injury during his team's Week 2 victory over the Detroit Lions and did not return. The wide receiver mentioned Wednesday that his hamstring was "feeling better" but it was going to be a "wait and see" situation.

The receiver got off to a fast start to begin the 2020 season, recording 14 receptions for 156 yards in Week 1. He registered three catches for 36 yards in Week 2 after being limited to just 38 snaps due to the injury.

The 27-year-old has been the main focal point for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense over the last number of seasons. Adams has earned three Pro Bowl selections while recording 5,386 receiving yards since being drafted in 2014.

The Packers currently are the NFL's top scoring offense after putting up over 40 points in consecutive weeks.
