The hamstring injury Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams' suffered in Week 2 is considered a minor strain, but his status for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints has yet to be determined, a source told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Adams was sidelined in the fourth quarter against the Detroit Lions last Sunday after initially being listed as questionable. Head coach Matt LaFleur said that Adams wanted to return to the game, but the Packers opted against it with the team leading by a comfortable margin.

The three-time Pro Bowler was held to three catches for 36 yards in Week 2.

The Packers' leading receiver in each of the last four seasons, Adams had a career-high 14 receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener.

The 27-year-old has played at least 12 games every season since entering the NFL as a second-round pick in 2014, but his last full 16-game campaign came in 2016.

Adams racked up 83 receptions for 997 yards and five touchdowns through 12 appearances in 2019.
