The Dallas Cowboys appear to be continuously working toward locking up quarterback Dak Prescott long term.
Dallas' latest offer would make Prescott the NFL's second-highest-paid quarterback in terms of average annual value, a source told ESPN's Todd Archer.
Seattle Seahawks signal-caller Russell Wilson currently tops the position with an average of $35 million per season, while Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger isn't far behind at $34 million.
The Cowboys placed the franchise tag on Prescott this offseason, which means he can't negotiate with another team. If a long-term extension isn't agreed upon by July 15, he'll earn $33 million on the one-year tender.
Prescott reportedly turned down a new deal worth $33 million annually with $105 million guaranteed in March, and the two sides appear to be standing firm amid ongoing negotiations.
The 26-year-old set career highs with 4,902 passing yards and 30 touchdowns in 2019, though Dallas missed the playoffs for the second time in its last three campaigns.
