NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to all 32 teams Friday, announcing that franchises can reopen their facilities beginning May 19 if they're permitted to do so in their respective states.

Teams must also be in compliance with public health requirements in their locales and implement the protocols outlined by the league in a memo issued last week.
Coaches won't be allowed in facilities and no more than 50% of staff can be inside at the same time. Additionally, no players will be allowed to enter unless they're currently undergoing medical treatment or rehab.
The league is working with the NFLPA on protocols that will allow for a certain amount of players to return to facilities as early as next month.
The NFL is undertaking a phased approach to reopening its facilities.
