Report: Flacco expected to be cleared in September after disc repair

Free-agent quarterback Joe Flacco should obtain medical clearance between late August and the middle of September after undergoing a disc repair in early April, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Flacco finished the 2019 campaign on injured reserve because of a neck injury. The Broncos released him after only one season.
In eight games last year, Flacco completed 65.3% of his passes while throwing for 1,822 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions. The Broncos went 2-6 in his starts.
Flacco and Cam Newton represent the two most prominent quarterbacks available in free agency. Flacco spent the first 11 seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens and was named MVP of Super Bowl XLVII.
