The New York Giants have placed an unrestricted free-agent tender on pass-rusher Markus Golden, reports ESPN's Field Yates.
If Golden is still unsigned after July 22, he'll only be able to play for the Giants in 2020, as the team would hold his exclusive rights. Until then, the 29-year-old can choose to sign with another club.
Golden recorded a team-leading 10 sacks in 2019, his first season with the Giants. Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines were next with 4.5 sacks each.
