All the drama surrounding Antonio Brown this year led to a lot of Google searches.

The free-agent wide receiver experienced the largest spike in searches of any person both in the United States and globally in 2019, according to Google's annual Year in Search roundup.

Brown beat out Brazilian soccer star Neymar, YouTuber James Charles, actor Jussie Smollett, and actor/comedian Kevin Hart for the top spot. He also led the athlete category, finishing ahead of Neymar, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper, former Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz, and United States Women's National Team soccer star Alex Morgan.

Topics searched in relation to Brown include text messaging, flatulence, frostbite, Mike Mayock, and allegation, according to Google.

Brown made an Instagram post Friday to apologize for his "inexcusable" behavior and said he's looking forward to "competing and helping a team reach their goals."
