Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been playing through a sports hernia injury that will require offseason surgery, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Beckham has yet to miss any playing time but the injury is characterized as "serious and often painful," according to Rapoport.
The 27-year-old Beckham admitted this week to being "banged up all year." This season has been the quietest of his career, as he's recorded just 57 catches for 805 yards and two touchdowns.
Beckham will be on the field Sunday for the Browns' divisional battle with the Cincinnati Bengals.
