Start

Kyle Allen, Panthers

vs. Falcons

Icon Sportswire / Icon Sportswire / Getty

Allen hasn't exactly lit the league on fire since taking over as the starter for an injured Cam Newton, but he's taken advantage of good matchups against the Cardinals and Buccaneers. He'll get another easy test this week from a Falcons team allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks - and that includes its uncharacteristically strong performance last week against the Saints. Prior to that stunner, Atlanta allowed multiple touchdown passes in six straight contests. Allen's a borderline QB1 this week and should have plenty of scoring opportunities in a game that features a 50.5 projected point total.

Boone's projection: 296 passing yards, 2 passing TDs

Other QBs to start

  • Josh Allen at Dolphins
  • Derek Carr vs. Bengals
  • Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Cardinals

Damien Williams, Chiefs

at Chargers

Sam Greenwood / Getty Images Sport / Getty

After early-season injuries and the arrival of LeSean McCoy threatened Williams' workload, it appears the 27-year-old has regained his hold on the starting job in Kansas City. Over the last two games, Williams has played on over 70% of the Chiefs' snaps while posting 237 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 38 touches. It's also worth noting that McCoy was a healthy scratch, though the team insists the absence was planned in order to rest the veteran, who's dealt with injuries and ball security issues in recent weeks. Williams should continue to thrive versus the Chargers, who've allowed at least 100 yards to five different running backs in their last six outings, restoring him to high-end RB2 status.

Boone's projection: 73 rushing yards, 41 receiving yards, TD

Other RBs to start

  • Devin Singletary at Dolphins
  • Brian Hill at Panthers
  • Joe Mixon at Raiders

Michael Gallup, Cowboys

at Lions

Though Gallup's yet to top his outstanding Week 1 performance, when he caught all seven of his targets for 158 yards, his volume has once again increased in recent weeks, culminating in a 10-target, 76-yard, one-touchdown game last Sunday. His outlook remains positive, since the Lions have permitted 11 receivers to put up top-24 fantasy numbers in 2019, according to Ryan McDowell of Dynasty League Football. Fire up Gallup as a solid WR2 play under the dome in Detroit.

Boone's projection: 84 receiving yards, TD

Other WRs to start

  • Curtis Samuel vs. Falcons
  • Calvin Ridley at Panthers
  • Mohamed Sanu at Eagles

Jared Cook, Saints

at Buccaneers

Harry Aaron / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Cook's stat lines in his last three games are 4-41-1, 3-37-1, and 6-74-0, placing him back in the conversation as a top-12 tight end the rest of season, especially with Drew Brees back under center. You can also feel confident about another quality outing versus the Buccaneers, whose strength against the run is offset by a non-existent pass defense. Tampa is second worst when it comes to limiting tight ends in fantasy, so don't be surprised ifCook sees double digit targets for the second straight week.

Boone's projection: 67 receiving yards, TD

Other TEs to start

  • Greg Olsen vs. Falcons
  • Eric Ebron vs. Jaguars
  • T.J. Hockenson vs. Cowboys

Sit

Carson Wentz, Eagles

vs. Patriots

Icon Sportswire / Icon Sportswire / Getty

Wentz faced top-seven pass defenses in three consecutive games before the Eagles' Week 10 bye, rendering him unusable in fantasy during that stretch. It doesn't get any easier this Sunday, when he'll battle with the Patriots' top-ranked unit and may be without Alshon Jeffery, his best pass-catcher, who missed practice all week. Better days are coming, though: the Dolphins, Giants, and Redskins are on the schedule from Week 13 to Week 15.

Boone's projection: 219 passing yards, TD, INT

Other QBs to sit

  • Kirk Cousins vs. Broncos
  • Jared Goff vs. Bears
  • Mitch Trubisky at Rams

David Johnson, Cardinals

at 49ers

Jennifer Stewart / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Johnson was back in the lineup in Week 10, following a two-game absence, but he didn't look healthy.

Lacking burst and making incredibly slow cuts, Johnson carried the ball five times for two yards, caught one pass for eight yards, and coughed up the ball once, leading to an in-game benching. That makes it tough to trust him, even with the 49ers' run defense crumbling lately. San Francisco has allowed over 100 yards from scrimmage to three different backs in the past three contests, including Johnson's teammate Kenyan Drake, two weeks ago. For now, consider Drake a high-end RB3 with Johnson a low-end RB3/flex option.

Boone's projection: 35 rushing yards, 14 receiving yards

Other RBs to sit

  • Adrian Peterson/Derrius Guice vs. Jets
  • Royce Freeman at Vikings
  • Latavius Murray at Buccaneers

DeVante Parker, Dolphins

vs. Bills

Michael Reaves / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Parker is practicing in full despite a calf injury, but it's not his leg that's the issue in this matchup. Since Parker hauled in five passes for 55 yards and a score against the Bills in Week 7, only one receiver has eclipsed 65 yards against an incredibly stingy Buffalo defense. With Preston Williams no longer drawing attention, coordinators will be able to focus on stopping Parker, causing him to be a more volatile fringe WR3. Avoiding the coverage of Bills shutdown corner Tre'Davious White is normally a wise move for fantasy managers.

Boone's projection: 48 receiving yards

Other WRs to sit

  • Marvin Jones vs. Cowboys
  • Larry Fitzgerald at 49ers
  • Kenny Stills/Will Fuller at Ravens

Darren Fells, Texans

at Ravens

David Eulitt / Getty Images Sport / Getty

The tight-end position is a wasteland beyond the top seven or eight options, and as a result, it's hard to recommend sitting many players, especially with bye weeks in full swing. Fells has been a decent bye-week replacement thanks to his red-zone work - six touchdowns - but he's seen three or fewer total targets in six of his nine appearances this season. Basically, it's touchdown or bust for Fells, and the Ravens have only given up two scores to tight ends on the year. You might want to look elsewhere for your streamer this week.

Boone's projection: 26 receiving yards

Other TEs to sit

  • Jason Witten at Lions
  • Mike Gesicki vs. Bills
  • Ben Watson at Eagles

Stash

Wayne Gallman, Giants

Icon Sportswire / Icon Sportswire / Getty

It wasn't long ago that Gallman was the hottest name on the waiver wire, with fantasy managers bidding big for his services. And he delivered with 24 touches, 118 yards from scrimmage, and two touchdowns in his first game stepping in as a starter. However, Gallman was injured a week later and Saquon Barkley made it back sooner than expected, sending his backup to fantasy waivers once again. At the moment, Gallman is owned in only 6% of leagues, but with Barkley playing hurt, Gallman could get another opportunity before the season's over, and the Giants get the Dolphins and Redskins in the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.

Russell Gage, Falcons

Adam Bettcher / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Gage is way off the mainstream fantasy radar, but after the Mohamed Sanu trade he played a season-high 62% of the Falcons' snaps in Week 10 and saw five targets thrown his way. With tight end Austin Hooper sidelined for the next month, Gage could soak up a lot of work in the middle of the field on an Atlanta team that is more often than not trailing in games. Gage is already on the WR4 radar with the potential to rise higher over the next month.

Quit

Robby Anderson, Jets

Michael Owens / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Our hopes were high for Anderson (55% owned) this season after he dominated last December. Sam Darnold missing time early in the year hurt Anderson's outlook, but we clung to his outstanding second-half schedule for a potential payoff. Unfortunately, two games into that great slate, Anderson's been a complete flop, with stat lines of 2-33 and 1-11 against the Dolphins and Giants. Though splash games are still possible for the talented wideout, you can't have confidence in him as a fantasy starter any longer.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Packers

Icon Sportswire / Icon Sportswire / Getty

Valdes-Scantling (43% owned) had his chance to step up with Davante Adams sidelined and failed to do so. Since Adams returned two games ago, MVS hasn't recorded a catch and in Week 10 he saw the field on only 11 plays. The speedy sophomore is currently on a bye and no longer needs to be owned in fantasy leagues.
